Welcome to The Stitchy Flamingo — where needlepoint is colorful, creative, and way more fun than your grandma’s floral pillow (unless your grandma had amazing taste, in which case… respect).

The Stitchy Flamingo was created with one simple mission: to make needlepoint feel modern, playful, and totally approachable — even if you’ve never picked up a needle before and currently have no idea what “tent stitch” means.

What started as a love for stitching quickly turned into a full-blown obsession with bright colors, fun designs, and helping people discover that needlepoint is actually ridiculously relaxing (and slightly addictive once you start).

Around here, we believe stitching should feel joyful — not intimidating. No perfection required. Buying “just one more canvas” is completely reasonable. Thread hoarding is a valid hobby. No secret stitching club passwords. No designer labels or extra zeros in your bank account are needed here. No fancy rules you have to memorize and needlepoint is better when shared (preferably with snacks).

Just colorful canvases, creative fun, and the occasional “oops, stitched that backwards” moment. It happens to the best of us.

When I’m not designing new canvases or ignoring my growing to-do list (hello ADHD), I’m probably convincing myself I definitely need just one more color of Milan fiber, all the while wrangling my almost 2 year old son and keeping him away from my 12 year old Daughter, who's name is Kia (our cat, who thinks she’s a human). Or stressing my husband out when stitch mail arrives (it’s a business expense now, sir 😂)!
