Wakulla MOBS Night Out - Beginner Needlepoint Class

Join us for a Wakulla MOBS Night Out with The Stitchy Flamingo for a needlepoint beginner party. We want everyone to have a chance to learn so we have several options available. If you decide that you do not want to participate, please still join us for fun and laughter. Bring your bestie, mom, sister and coworker. The more the merrier.

Our Beginner Needlepoint class is the perfect introduction with hands on learning.

In this beginner-friendly class, we will walk you through the fundamentals of needlepoint so you can confidently start your first project. Whether you’ve never picked up a needle or just need a refresher, this class will teach you the essential skills every stitcher needs.

Each student will receive a Beginner Needlepoint Kit, that includes:

• A Beginner Canvas
• Practice Canvas
• Threads
• Project Bag
• Needle
• Scissors
• Needle Threader

What You’ll Learn:

• What needlepoint is and how it works
• How to read a needlepoint canvas
• Basic stitches (classic tent stitch and if we have time, basketweave)
• How to start and end threads

What to Bring:

• Your mom, sister and bestie. :) Everything that you need to learn how to stitch will be provided in your kit.
